USB Charger Replacement for 100 Series LC/LX470 Rear Seat Audio Control Panel

Let's face it - the fact that your kids could plug wired headphones (remember those?) into the panel on the rear of the center console & jam out to music that you didn't want to have to listen to was super cool... back in 2003 or so. Since we've since moved on from vehicle-mounted CD players that take up the space of a toaster, that panel in the back of your center console probably hasn't seen use for over a decade. So why not replace it with something that you'll actually get some use out of ?!?

This replacement panel ditches those worthless audio controls & instead mounts a USB charger that has three separate charging outlets: a USB-A QC3.0, a USB-C PD3.0, and a 'normal' 2.4A USB-A port. The charger assembly rotates in the housing, allowing you to 'flip' it up to plug in cords, and then rotate it downward to prevent kids/dogs/cargo from smacking into the USB cords/plugs & destroying them or the outlets. It also helps maintain a sleek look (and hey, that logo looks great!)

The housing is printed out of glass-fiber reinforced ASA, & is a drop-in replacement for the audio control panel (uses the factory mounting screws). You can tap power off of the wires for the 12V outlet in the center console - that's a fused connection of appropriate amperage for this application.

The charger assembly comes pre-assembled with the charger electronics already in the housing - simply pop your trim panel off, remove the three screws & connector holding the audio control panel in place, wire this to the 12V outlet wires, and reinstall the 3x factory screws + trim panel & you're done!
