Let’s be honest: the factory cupholder setup in the 4th Gen 4Runner (2003–2009) were designed for a world that didn't include 32oz Nalgenes or skinny energy drinks. Whether your original cupholder insert is long gone or you’re just tired of your coffee doing gymnastics every time you hit a trail, the Lumberjack Engineering Ultimate Cupholder insert is the upgrade you've been looking for!

Stop choosing between your hydration goals and your morning caffeine fix. Our precision-engineered insert features an upper ring & two infinitely Adjustable Arms that provide a custom fit for your entire beverage arsenal.

The Big Guys: Fully opens to allow 32 Oz Nalgenes, Hydro Flasks, and oversized tumblers. Anything with a maximum diameter of 92.5mm will fit!
The Daily Drivers: Close the arms slightly to perfectly hold standard fast-food cups and soda cans so they don't rattle on the highway.
The Slim Fits: The arms can close down to fit snug around 8.4oz Red Bull cans and slim seltzers, preventing the "tipping point" in sharp turns. The arms will actually close down well past what's needed for this drinks, so they'll secure pretty much anything larger in diameter than a 5-hour energy shot.

The Adjustable Arms work in conjunction with the upper portion of the insert, which provides a straight-wall for the beverage container to rest against. This is in contrast to the stock cupholder, which has sides that taper inward as the cupholder goes down, contributing to the factory tip-factor!

Feature
High-Temp Carbon-fiber reinforced ASA	Won’t warp, soften, or degrade in hot vehicle interiors (rated for use up to 105 °C!). ASA is also inherently UV-resistant, so this is built to last the duration of your 4runner!
Adjustable Arm Tension	The center screw on the insert is the tension adjustment for the arms - I pre-set them to the perfect tension here, but in case there's any wear over the next decade or two you can bring the tension back to perfect with a simple adjustment!
OEM+ Fitment	Drops directly into the 4th Gen center console with zero modifications. The fit is perfect!
Expandable Design	Each cupholder insert features threaded inserts around the perimeter to allow for future expandability! Need a third cupholder on the passenger side? DONE! Cubbies for both side? Knocked that one out too! Let us know what you're looking for and it can probably happen.

CURRENT EXPANSION OPTIONS:

Passenger Sidecar Cupholder: Add a third cupholder into the mix! This can hold up to a 20 ounce Yeti tumbler. It should be noted that this is engineered to hug the center console trim AS TIGHT as possible, but it does still stick out the ~93mm diameter of the cupholder, so just be cognizant of that. Photos show what would be my normal seating position & how my legs fit in the wheel well.
Passenger & Drivers Sidecar Cubbies: Perfect for holding a phone, pens, emergency jelly beans - you name it! These are low-profile and unobtrusive.
