That's super handy, but where do you put the interior switch panel? That's the problem I set out to solve here. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis design allows you to keep your sunglasses holder (important to me!) \u0026amp; requires no cutting or modification of the headliner or overhead console. It hooks up top around the headliner \u0026amp; locks in by slipping under the overhead console at the bottom - the cable routes underneath the overhead console as well, making for a very clean install! This design fits the contour perfectly, achieved by 3D scanning the area and using that data to inform the CAD model. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThis uses the M3 screws provided in all of the AUXbeam kits to attach the switch panel to the mount from the backside via counterbored holes. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe design that is shown here has a with an Auxbeam RA-80XL mounted in my 2005 LX470, but I have versions to fit the Auxbeam RC-60, RA80, BA80, GA80, and AR820 for the 98-02 and 03-07 100 Series LC\/LX and the 01-07 Sequoia. I do not recommend the RA\/RB80XL in the 98-02, as there's just not as much space. I chose to design the camera mount to snap into the rear headliner trim, allowing for an installation with no permanent modification. Keeping the camera on the inside means that you're not throwing dust\/mud all over the lens - when the rear window gets dirty, just run the rear window wiper \u0026amp; you're good to go!\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eFor the 100 Series LC\/LX in particular, I coupled this with a replacement windshield mount arm + a custom designed adaptor plate for the display (rearview mirror). As a father to not-quite-2-year-old, I could only imagine that I would be commiserating with him in the future, hah.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eI initially thought this was a pretty niche application, but after testing it through five design iterations, it turns out it's actually quite nice! It definitely lets you open the hatch easier by giving you more leverage both against the latch release, and the hatch struts. Same with closing it - the extra leverage makes a surprising difference.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eIt's designed in such a way that when you're opening it transfers the load into the frame of the hatch. Same with when you close it - the wedge shape on the backside means you're not putting weird torque into the handle, rather most of the force is transferred into the frame of the hatch.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis attaches to the factory rear hatch handle on \u003cem\u003eboth\u003c\/em\u003e the 100 series and 80 series Landcruisers \u0026amp; LXs. The Moroso 74098 battery terminals (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Moroso-74098-Battery-Terminal-Silver\/dp\/B0BY34ZS22\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003efound here!)\u003c\/a\u003e are an excellent made-in-USA option that is affordable \u0026amp; offers plenty of connection options. However, there wasn't any terminal covers for them, which is asking for an unintentional DIY-arc-welding accident to happen when you're working in the engine bay.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThat's why I designed these terminal covers - they're printed out of flexible, heat resistant \u0026amp; chemical resistant thermoplastic polyurethane, which is perfect for under-the-hood applications! It wraps around the exposed metal on the fusible link assembly as well (both for the 98-02 and 03-07s. The fusible link assembly is different between those two, hence the different options), offering complete protection from accidental shorts across the top of the terminals while leaving nearly every lug accessible - the front top lug is covered, but if you need that one you can easily trim the terminal cover with some side-cutters to expose it. The material is flexible enough that when retained by a ziptie around the backside of the cover (as shown in the picture) you can still easily 'open' the terminal cover to access the terminal itself.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eShortly after completing the design for the Moroso terminals, someone reached out \u0026amp; asked about the A12 VGate battery terminals (\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Battery-Terminal-Connectors-Positive-Negative\/dp\/B08CGCWY72\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"\u003efound here\u003c\/a\u003e). That mental image burned itself into my brain, and I decided that keeping a fire extinguisher quickly accessible should be a priority for any off-road vehicle that is routinely pushed to its limits. The brackets attach via replacement of an M5 shoulder bolt with a longer version (included) at the top of the rails. You simply push the lower plastic trim upwards (out of the way), remove the stock M5 shoulder bolts, place the brackets into place, and install the longer (included) shoulder bolt on each side to lock the brackets into place. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eSpanning the two brackets is a CNC-plasma cut 12 gauge steel panel full of 1\/4\" slots to allow you to mount *whatever* you'd like on the front of it - fire extinguisher? This results in a solution that should have the same sealing properties as the factory brake light!
