That's super handy, but where do you put the interior switch panel? That's the problem I set out to solve here. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThis design allows you to keep your sunglasses holder (important to me!) \u0026amp; requires no cutting or modification of the headliner or overhead console. It hooks up top around the headliner \u0026amp; locks in by slipping under the overhead console at the bottom - the cable routes underneath the overhead console as well, making for a very clean install! This design fits the contour perfectly, achieved by 3D scanning the area and using that data to inform the CAD model. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\n\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThis uses the M3 screws provided in all of the AUXbeam kits to attach the switch panel to the mount from the backside via counterbored holes. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eThe design that is shown here has a with an Auxbeam RA-80XL mounted in my 2005 LX470, but I have versions to fit the Auxbeam RC-60, RA80, BA80, GA80, and AR820 for the 98-02 and 03-07 100 Series LC\/LX and the 01-07 Sequoia. I do not recommend the RA\/RB80XL in the 98-02, as there's just not as much space. I chose to design the camera mount to snap into the rear headliner trim, allowing for an installation with no permanent modification. So I designed a customizable storage rack that drops into that same space instead!\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\n\u003cbr\u003eFor the 2001-2007 (that have the center console lid cup holders!) This requires no drilling or permanent modification to install:\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003col\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eSet this rack up how you want it by running the elastic through the slots in the top piece \u0026amp; then installed the 14x M3x8 countersunk screws to sandwich the two pieces together.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003ePull a couple screws \u0026amp; pins from the OEM cupholder insert to allow you to remove it (side arms can stay in place if you'd like)\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003eDrop the organizer rack into place \u0026amp; run the provided M3 screws through the existing screw holes down at the bottom to lock it all in.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003c\/ol\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor the 1998-2000 (i.e, trucks that do not have the center console lid) cupholders, it requires drilling 6x small (1\/8\") holes in the inside of the center console lid - three at the top of the organizer, three at the bottom. These screw holes are used to attach the organizer to the lid of the center console.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor the 4th Gen 4Runners, you just need to take out two screws in the center console to replace with the provided ones, then drop inserts into the rectangle cutouts in the center console lid at the lower mounting points (see photo). Once that's done \u0026amp; you've setup the organizer elastic how you want, just set the organizer into place \u0026amp; attach via the 4x screws. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cbr\u003eI really like how everything (that's a reasonable thickness at least) ends up recessed into the center console lid for all variants - allows you to still fill the top portion of the console full of stuff, load this organizer rack up, and still shut it without having to fiddle around. I think the utility knife may get swapped for a Snickers bar in the future - for when I inevitably get myself stuck on a trail again, and time is counting down to make it back in time for the big COTR cookoff...\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThese are printed in carbon-fiber reinforced ASA for long term durability. That mental image burned itself into my brain, and I decided that keeping a fire extinguisher quickly accessible should be a priority for any off-road vehicle that is routinely pushed to its limits. The brackets attach via replacement of an M5 shoulder bolt with a longer version (included) at the top of the rails. You simply push the lower plastic trim upwards (out of the way), remove the stock M5 shoulder bolts, place the brackets into place, and install the longer (included) shoulder bolt on each side to lock the brackets into place. \u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003eSpanning the two brackets is a CNC-plasma cut 12 gauge steel panel full of 1\/4\" slots to allow you to mount *whatever* you'd like on the front of it - fire extinguisher?
